Denim Project

Ask the average Dutch person about typical Dutch things, and you will hear things like tulips, clogs and 'stroopwafels'. Strangely enough, only a small group of people know that worldwide, we Dutchies are known as leaders in the jeans industry.

 

For this school project, i mainly focused on making products by hand and photographing them. The first assignment was to make a product out of denim, combined with a tie-dye shirt. I chose to make a bag out of the fabric, and I photographed this in the studio to showcase it, which you can see in the first photo.

 

For the second part of this project i tie-dyed two shirts, i chose for bright and playful colors to contrast the urban look of the jeans. I decided to photograph this look on a lovely urban location, in a skate park.
