Hi! And welcome to my portfolio. My name's Femke Elzinga, and I'm 19 years old. My hometown is Deinum, which lies in Friesland, the Netherlands. In my daily life, I enjoy making art and am often busy discovering new ideas and approaches in photography, storytelling and editing. In my daily life, I love to explore the city, make photos, go to cafés to get a coffee, and get to know people. I'm also a huge animal lover and have pets myself. I'm a multimedia designer specializing in graphic and motion design and in addition to that I am a (portrait) photographer. I love coming up with new fun concepts and coming up with plans to visually express the ideas I have in mind.

My strengths are that I can adapt easily, I am conceptually strong, take initiative, am a perfectionist, I’m (self) aware, I’m able to see the big picture in complex situations, I’m creative, witty, realistic, I’ve got an eye for detail, have knowledge of (adobe) software, I’m open-minded, I can empathize, and I’m a good listener. I'm also a team player. My areas of improvement are not being so self-critical, not being afraid to make mistakes, not getting caught up in details, and being faster with decision-making. I'm also interested in learning more about branding design and print, and exploring the wide range of possibilities and approaches in photography, storytelling, editing, and graphic/motion design.
